Appliances
Unless you’ve been cooking under a rock, you know the Instant Pot has achieved the status of an essential kitchen appliance over the past few years. The combination slow cooker, pressure cooker, do-pretty-much-everything cooker has found a home in the kitchens of many Epi staff members. Both the 8-quart slow cooker (note that this model does not have pressure cooking ability) and the Ultra Mini are on sale this Prime Day, so if you don’t have an Instant Pot yet, now is the time to go for it. Also available? The high-tech Tiger rice cooker that moonlights as a bread machine, the Blendtec blender—which, famously, can blend an iPhone—and a sleek electric scale.

Pots and Pans
Thank goodness Prime Day happens online and not in person. Could you imagine how loud and dangerous shopping for pots and pans would be amidst a competitive, frenzied crowd? Just think of all those half-off Le Creuset cast iron griddles and 6-qt Lodge dutch ovens flying around. You would probably need steel-toed boots. Unless, of course, you grabbed a few of our product test-winning NordicWare Aluminum half sheet pans and started banging them around to scare the other shoppers away like the wild animals they are. Jokes aside, see some of our favorite on-sale cookware below:
PRIME DAY DEAL: Tramontina Stainless Steel Frying Pan, 12 inch
PRIME DAY DEAL: Le Creuset Cast Iron Skinny Griddle, Flame

Bottles and Storage Containers
Here at Epi we love some reusable storage containers. If there is something that can help us cut down on single-use plastic in the kitchen, we are on it like flies on an uncovered al fresco dinner. Stasher bags are fabulous substitutes for plastic bags since they’re flexible, come in all sorts of sizes, and are non-toxic and dishwasher- and microwave- safe. We also love Contigo insulated water bottles—they come in a variety of colors and are excellent at keeping hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold.

Serveware
It’s never a bad idea to have some Corelle dishware on hand, since the brand’s products are famously very difficult to break or chip. Several Corelle items are marked down up to 40-percent off for Prime Day this year, so if you’ve Julian Schnabel-ed a bunch of your dishes and bowls, now might be a good time to admit your weakness and get some tougher serveware.
