Iconic French wine label Listel has signed an exclusive new distribution agreement with Pinnacle Drinks.

The partnership with the Woolworths Group supplier will see Listel stocked in Dan Murphy’s stores across the country from November 1, at the affordable RRP of $11.99.

Guillaume Bladocha, Listel’s Export Director for Asia Pacific, said the company is excited to bring their brand to Australian consumers after the incredible success it had seen in France and other international markets.

“We are incredibly excited about this new partnership with Pinnacle Drinks and the opportunity to bring Listel to the Australian consumers,” Bladocha said.

“Listel is the top selling rosé in France for many years and has been experiencing a strong growth on the export markets for the last few years. Given the distribution network that Pinnacle Drinks has in Australia, this partnership is a perfect fit to our brand.”

Listel, part of the Castel Group and with history dating back to 1883, is located in the south of France and has the biggest single vineyard in Europe.

It has an eco-friendly philosophy in both viticulture and every step of production, with the winery achieving certified High Environmental Value and Natura 2000 status, which recognise the sustainability efforts of the winery. Listel has also redesigned its flagship bottle to have a low carbon footprint.

To support the launch and build the Listel brand into Australia, Pinnacle Drinks will be rolling out what they called a ‘robust promotional plan.’

Antoine Dupont, Head of Purchasing at Pinnacle Drinks said: “We are pleased to welcome this new exclusive partnership with Listel.

“From the first week of November, our Australian customers will be able to buy a bottle of Listel rosé in any of our 245 Dan Murphy’s stores across the country. A robust promotional plan will help build this brand in the country; creating awareness not only to our customers but also to our team members.”
