A local Redding family-owned coffee shop is giving away free drinks and food to those directly impacted or evacuated by the Zogg Fire.
“This is the least we can do,” said Torrie Rosales, Owner of the Black Rose Coffee & Tea shop off Old Oregon Trail.
Having been through this before – with the Carr Fire – Rosales wanted to once again lend out a helping hand to those directly affected with a drink and food on the house.

Rosales started this on Monday, the day after the Zogg Fire blew up.
She says they haven’t gotten many evacuees so far – less than 10 – but they’re really hoping people stop by to get some type of normalcy back into their lives.
“Whenever stuff like this happens, I have found that a lot of the small local businesses are the ones that step up and help everyone out,” said Rosales. “So, that’s just where I’m coming from. You have to help your neighbor because at some point we’re all going to need help.”
Evacuees aren’t the only ones eligible for a free drink, first responders helping with the Zogg Fire are as well.
All you have to do is let them know you’ve been affected by the Zogg Fire.

Rosales is hoping to keep this up for roughly two weeks, as people start to get back on their feet.
